After playing Okami for days I can't help but feel inspired.
So pardon the nippon overdose. I wanted to paint a rooster because I particularly liked the rooster zodiac in the game, although my version hopefully doesn't look like the same :'3 if really like rooster at all, who needs references anyway... I'm quite satisfied, considering I was about to give up in the beginning because every step felt like a huge mistake  stupid inks. In the end, it turned out all good~~muhvu scanned it for me and this needed to be scanned in 3-4 parts, so there's still some blurry spots but it can't be helped. watercolor, gouache, ink, original size A3 Comments

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
