Looks really awesome!
I wish people would rather get a clockwork bird then a real one, who gets locked in a small cage forever just for humans to have some fun by hearing his song. Human selfishness is impressve =/

ah yes, it depends on person I guess...I have friends with pet birds and they get to fly free in the apartment and seem to have enough activities to be happy, but like people who put goldfish in round jars, there is probably lot of people who buy pet bird and fancy, way too tiny, cage only for decorative means.

I also have a decorative bird cage hanging on my balcony, but instead of buying a bird I bought ivy to grow in there, it looks pretty neat and nobody is harmed :) but adding a mechanical bird in there would look cool too, heh. Kind of steam-punk-ish <:

Yeah, that's exactly what I meant. It's really rare to see anyone to get birds and threat them well. My father got a parrot (against my will...) and he doesn't have a closed cage, but even though he's sad because he can't fly around.

Well, a steampunk bird would be much cooler to have, as it wouldn't suffer like the other ones =)
